As a little girl,
I always envisioned myself doing something that would positively impact the world around me. I knew that if I felt my soul stir and my heart sing, I was being guided by a greater power. This is what photography does to me. Gordon Parks once said, “I feel it is the heart, not the eye, that should determine the content of the photograph. What the eye sees is its own. What the heart can perceive is a very different matter.” Photography is more than capturing an image for me, but rather standing still and seizing moments in life that become memories.
